My World ~ Your World – Obsession

I have a serious obsession with photographing birds. Serious. I have feeders right out my office window and I can get lost for hours just sitting there watching out the window and trying to grab the perfect shot.

My World ~ Your World – Guilt

Ah, yes. This week’s theme for our 52 week project was Guilt:

Yes, so we have a moratorium here on buying any more lenses for awhile. I’m just sayin’…but I absolutely LUST after the 50mm 1.4. I have the cheapo 50mm 1.8 and it’s just not cutting it for me now. But…

I. Will. Not. Buy. Any. More. Lenses…

I did cheat a little, though. While not technically a lens I did buy this teleconverter to use with my 70-200mm lens. That’s doesn’t really count? Right? (guilt, guilt, guilt!)

I. Will. Not. Buy. Any. More. Lenses… at least for a little while…

My World ~ Your World

This year I’m participating in a fun, creative 52 week project. My World/Your World. A group of photographers from the photography forum 4 the Love of Focus paired up for this project. Each week we have a theme, and each of us takes that theme and interprets it however we see it. This week’s theme was My World/Your World Resolution.

I paired up with the fabulous Casey Yu, a Tallahassee portrait photographer. I’ve known Casey for a few years on different photography forums. She’s funny, a bit geeky like me and I’m going to have so much fun viewing her world this year. As an aside…she knows me as Kacey..like about half the world does. So we have the Kacey Casey pair up. Totally random. I swear.

Casey, I’m freezing up here, and it’s supposed to snow this week. Maybe I should come visit you and warm up a bit!
